Waves of Desire

Scaly, smoldering, and rumored to cause shipwrecks with just a glance, Null the Sahagin has plans to terrorize coastal towns and brood dramatically. But when he crosses paths with Captain Jack Marlowe, a dashing pirate with a reputation for mischief, the real danger becomes…mutual attraction. Between stolen glances, accidental brushes of scales on skin, and dangerously close moonlit moments, sparks fly faster than cannon fire. Who knew evil could be this tempting?

Tempered

Legendary primal hunter, N'rohrh Tia, has faced horrors most mortals wouldn’t survive, but nothing prepared him for Lilithra, a primal whose power isn’t in claws or fire, but in the mind. One glance, one whispered command, and N'rohrh's resolve begins to fracture, desire creeping in where duty once ruled. Caught between loyalty and temptation, hunter and primal are drawn into a dangerous dance where surrender could cost everything.

Introductory Readings for Lambs of the Eighth Star

To follow the Seven is not to choose a side, but to walk the tension between them- each embodying a sacred duality in which balance is the highest truth. Balance is not peace, but the constant adjustment between opposing forces that never fully disappear. It is not a state you reach, but a discipline you maintain. Light does not erase shadow, chaos does not end the possibility of order, life does not halt decay. The Faithful do not seek an end to struggle, but to find understanding within it.
from the teachings of Osk Asterius

Big Smart Book of Whirr-Click Metal Thinkings

Big think-book for iron-things, yes-yes! Many many pages of click-clack math, spin-spin gear-talk, and smartbrain scratchings. Book tell how metal bones move, how boom-box not explode (unless want explode), and how tiny screw do big job. Words all long and crunchy, numbers bite back, but clever goblin love this book muchly. Not for softbrains, only for thinky-thinky engineers and goblins with big plans, yes?

The Power of Emptiness

We’ve been told that more is better- more possessions, more success, more stimulation. But what if all that ‘abundance’ is exactly what’s holding you back? In this bold, transformative guide, Florentel explains why emptiness isn’t something to fear, but rather how it’s a powerful space for clarity, creativity, and true freedom.

The Way They Live

When she set out to explore Thavnair, Nefefe expected vibrant cities, sprawling landscapes, and bustling markets. What she didn’t expect was to find a life-changing lesson in the heart of a remote Matanga tribe. Through days spent living among them, listening to their stories, and witnessing their deep connection to the land and each other, she discovered a new way of seeing the world- one that celebrates simplicity, presence, and joy. Their laughter, rituals, and unhurried pace taught her that life is not something to rush through, but something to fully embrace.

Owner & Management

Florentel Surlaint

Florentel is the self-appointed main attraction of the Sandpiper cafe. As a devoted food and drink snob with impeccable taste (just ask him), he opened the café as a carefully curated stage for his own art, writing, and opinions, though others are occasionally encouraged to participate. Equal parts artistic visionary and espresso purist, he believes great ideas deserve a stimulating environment and a receptive audience.

When he’s not gatekeeping bean origins or harassing his employees about not rushing the crema, he can be found rearranging the gallery to better spotlight his work. Love him or hate him, his passion is undeniable and the coffee really is excellent.

Broody and perpetually overworked, they can still pull a perfect espresso while silently judging your life choices. Don’t expect small talk- expect biting commentary, erotic literary references, and a grudging willingness to discuss your favorite novel... if they find it interesting.

A Botanical Journey Through Vylbrand

This herbalist’s guide invites readers on a sensory journey through Vlybrand's diverse landscapes, uncovering the plants that have flavored La Noscea’s kitchens, healed families, and shaped folk traditions for centuries. Region by region, it explores native and naturalized herbs- how to identify them in the wild, cultivate them at home, and prepare them safely as teas, tinctures, oils, and remedies.
